What You'll Do
As a Dater Center Sales Leader, you are expected to provide vision, direction, knowledge, resources, programs, tools and processes to the field supporting partners to position and sell solutions, driving incremental product and services bookings. Support and collaborate with key APJ and global management teams of WWPO and Sales teams. You will drive increased sales bookings, field productivity, customer satisfaction, and relevance for Data Center product accounts by leading a high performing sales team of Regional Managers bringing to bear capabilities across Cisco. You will the Sales Leader looking after the ASEAN's entire DC business group. Support and successfully drive overall process and management of volume, run-rate business and more complex solutions with key partners. Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead a team to drive sales success of all Data Center business by achieving sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Tight alignment with the ASEAN Sales teams, services and Partner organization teams in areas of partner planning, resource management and services engagement.
Develop & attract talent to a consistent and high level of competency, in sales and sales leadership
Create and drive the effective use of the programs, tools, processes and best practices into the team and field sales teams where applicable.
Lead and support territory strategy, structure, approval process in collaboration with sales field, customer service and sales operations teams.
Refine and develop roles and responsibilities of meaningful sales and support jobs within and around commercial territories.
Support the ASEAN organizational strategies and participate in the Regional Partner Business Group leadership team to craft strategy and track execution
Drive a focus on continual evolution of our partner led model to drive scale for the ASEAN business.
Who You'll Work With
The ASEAN Datacenter business is a key growth area for Cisco with strong and consistent growth record. This role is ultimately responsible for the Go to Market strategy and growth for our Data Center products and solutions across ASEAN. You will be required to work closely with the Worldwide solutions peers, internal account teams, DC Architecture Sales teams and our partners.
You will collaborate with Executive Leadership and Area Sales Leaders to shape/drive top priorities and core initiatives focused on long-range growth and profitability.
Who You Are
5+ years of Data Center solutions experience in an IT sales organisation that includes selling products such as servers, hyper converged solutions, DC Networking products, Cloud technologies, DC Software etc
Experience in building a business around DC solutions.
In depth understanding of Data Center Trends and evolution, market trends and challenges
High level understanding of Converged and Hyper Converged solutions, benefits and trends
Deep understanding of key Cisco competitors in the Data Center and Cloud environment, ideally across the ASEAN Market
Strong understanding on how to evaluate, interpret, and incorporate financial data in daily decisions to understand the organisation's financial goals and focus the efforts in solving complex customer and partner needs.
Executive Communication and Negotiation Skills: Strong experience and ability to build and maintain executive level relationships at customers, partners and within Cisco.
You have the experience of building actionable long and short-term account plans based on a deep understanding of the impacts of business and technology trends. Ability to build and pitch programs for funding, as well as execution and governance for scale and repeatability across ASEAN.
Authority at identifying and being responsible for the appropriate resources (internal and external) required to develop and execute major solution strategic initiatives, with strong strategic vision - developing short and long term strategic models for the theater
Working across Boundaries - Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple business units, partners and solution teams in complex business engagements to use multiple IT domains in creating vertical/segment specific solutions for our customers
