Cisco seeks a Systems Engineer to join our team in a pre-sales technical role,

showcasing Cisco product solutions, setting up demonstrations and explaining features and benefits to customers-and designing and configuring products to meet specific customer needs. Gain access to the broad palette of Cisco technologies and applications in a variety of vertical markets.

What You'll Do?

Direct account and partner responsibilities for selected accounts in assigned territory. Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services. Provide technical and sales support for accounts in assigned territory Perform technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects.

5+ years-related experience in Data Center, Security, Unified Communications or Networking. Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area of emphasis required. Pre-Sales experience required. Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.

1.Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills.

  1. Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member. Demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills.

  2. Strong problem solving skills: ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action.

  3. Knowledge of baseline SE skills and knowledge in area of specialization.

  4. Knowledge and demonstrated operating experience in one of the following area's of specialization: Routing & Switching, Security, Data Centre, Virtualization. Unified Communications, Collaboration

  5. Knowledge of relevant solutions sets, product line specifications, performance criteria and applications.

  6. Competitive knowledge (in their area of specialization) including solution, technology and product offerings.

  7. Understanding and conversant about company, solutions and product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

  8. Industry recognized Certification is preferred.

Manager Specific Requirements : 5+ years-related experience in Data Center or Networking. Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area of emphasis required. Pre-Sales experience required.

Who You'll Work With?

Provide technical and sales support for accounts in assigned territory Perform technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects. Actively participate as a specialist on assigned Virtual Team and provides consultative support in their area of specialization to other Systems Engineers.
