Who You will work with:
The NX-OS Standalone Operations team is looking for a proactive and driven Program Manager to run and lead key programs across the Standalone product portfolio. DC Switching continues to be a significant growth engine for Cisco and with that growth comes the need for effective and efficient planning and coordination across our business group, marketing teams and cross functional partners. This means your work will transform our customers' consumption of our systems from every angle.
What You will do:
End-to-end release planning, execution and delivery a software release.
Setting up quality criteria for all releases
Participates in medium to high complexity aspects of a release
Own/Manage gate reviews (EC, DC, FCS RR)
Define and drive Quality Plan/Goals
Interacts with Senior Management for project status to drive decision-making processes.
Provides leadership, direction and mentorship to project team members
Manages and leads day-to-day activities of a release including:
Weekly engineering Updates and Presentations.
Feature and project level risk and mitigation
Change and portfolio management
Define, develop and track metrics used to assess code quality.
Develop and maintain positive and productive relationship with supported BU's and/or Marketing Teams
Working with documentation teams on user docs and Release Notes for each release
Define tooling requirements and process improvements to execute/deliver the releases with high Quality
Typically requires MSEE/CS combined with 8-10 years of program management experience, or BSEE/CS combined with 12+ yrs related experience.
