The Connected Digital Interactions (CDI) organization within Cisco's Customer Experience division plays a leadership role in transforming Cisco to thrive as a digital business in today’s consumption-driven market. The team develops and implements groundbreaking analytics models and intelligent automation to transform Cisco into a data-driven digital organization
With broad-based digital expertise, CDI is uniquely qualified to address the evolving expectations of today’s connected customers and partners, along with Cisco sellers. Using real-time connected data, machine learning and automation, across monetization models, the team enables Cisco sellers and partners to deliver a powerful, personalized experience—throughout the entire customer lifecycle.
With customer health and retention as the ultimate goal, CDI is focused on providing customers with an immersive digital experience with Cisco. This in turn drives improvements in recurring revenue, cost savings and sales effectiveness for Cisco and its partners.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
Working in Connected Customer Experience, you will join the Digital Experience Platform team to help bring Cisco's vision to fruition to ensure that we provide the best possible experience for our customers by leveraging Data Science and Digital techniques. This role will focus on customer segmentation and targeting, applied through digital techniques using automation. In this role, you will develop a productive and innovative application of customer segmentation, targeting and analytics to ensure we’re targeting the right customer, at the right time, in a way that results in increased adoption, bookings, retention and ultimately, success for Cisco customers.
WHO YOU ARE
Collaborate with Data Engineering team to improve data quality, reporting, and segmentation.
You will lead the overall strategy and apply best practices for segmentation across digital channels. This includes targeting, frequency, order, and timing on all outbound email communications.
You will be asked to present data driven recommendations and strategies to the Product Automation Leads based on analytics, data science and your knowledge of the data available. Must be able to understand data automation. Must be able to think logically through segmentation on marketing campaigns.
You will manage complex requirements providing clear updates to product management and stakeholders.
Must be flexible to evolving requirements and able to clearly articulate project status, bugs, issues and roadblocks.
Communicate developments and milestones effectively to a large group of stakeholders across the company.
Work with our Digital Experience Architects to implement data science models through multiple digital channels, in a way that engages customers. Must be able to understand digital marketing techniques and marketing automation.
Measure results of segmentation and audience within digital channels to optimize targeting, test targeting, and explain impact of each new insight or application of insights.
Develop and implement audiences for automated digital customer journeys, delivering the right content, at the right time, to the right person, in the right way leveraging new/innovative automation wherever possible.
Partner with product development, subject matter experts, and marketing disciplines across the company to develop understand audience data and customer journey attributes that secure differentiation in the marketplace.
Work with operations and IT teams to optimize processes and incorporate applicable data and automation solutions into all campaigns.
Stay up to date on points of view from leading industry analysts and key influencers in the market.

• 5 years of experience working with data and automation, tech industry a plus.
• Power Point
• Hadoop and digital platform connectivity, Eloqua a plus
• Business Objects or other similar tool
• Exceptional writing and presentation skills; ability to leverage various types of media to tell factual stories clearly, creatively, and succinctly
