We are seeking a manager to lead and mentor our team of quality engineers and program managers responsible for driving NPI and sustaining quality strategy and programs.

Reporting directly to the Director of Hardware Engineering Operations, this role offers a great opportunity to lead, hire and develop a stellar team of diverse technical and tactical talent as Meraki portfolio grows.

You will:

  • provide direction, mentorship, and growth to all members of a growing team of quality specialists and program managers.

  • allocate resources to NPI support, sustaining programs, and ongoing failure analysis cases.

  • develop processes and strategies to handle the increasingly diverse workload of the quality team, including but not limited to: ECN tracking and approvals, 2 nd source qualifications, Yield and RMA analysis, Firmware validation, and Manufacturing SOP review.

  • interface with Meraki’s JDM partners regularly to drive failure analysis, audit manufacturing flow, and implement new processes and metrics.

  • serve as the escalation path for failure analysis and sustaining issues for Meraki’s support, firmware, and product management teams.

  • track and report status of all Quality initiatives and failure analyses to Meraki management and external Cisco forums.

You have:

  • 3-5+ years’ experience managing hardware quality resources, ideally within the JDM (joint development manufacturing) model.

  • 7-10+ years’ experience in a hardware product/component related role.

  • experience/knowledge of technologies aligned with Meraki’s portfolio.

  • a BS and/or MS in EE or related discipline.

  • an ability to travel up to 20% to Taiwan and China.
