What You'll Do

CADI (Custom Application Development & Integration) practice in Cisco’s AS is looking for a Senior Collaboration Architect who thrives on building and delivering enterprise grade software applications and automation solutions. You will work within an agile development environment to scope, design, architect, and delivery world-class collaboration software. Your focus on teamwork, quality and knowledge of Cisco Collaboration product portfolio and APIs will make you a great fit for our team.

Who You'll Work With

You will work closely with customers, Cisco sales, and internal cross-functional teams to design, architect and lead the delivery of custom collaboration services.

Who You Are

The role requires proven track record of architecting, building and deploying large-scale automation and enterprise grade software systems. And deep understanding of Collaboration market, Cisco’s Collaboration product portfolio, and APIs

Experience in designing and architecting Collaboration solutions, backoffice/3rd party integrations and working with some or all of the following would be helpful

o Java 8 or later (additional C#, NodeJS) with multithread/concurrency programming and secure coding

o RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL etc.), NoSQL DB (e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop, Elastic etc.)

o Workflow Engine with BPMN 2.0 (e.g. Camunda)

o ORM framwrok (e.g. Hibernate, Spring JPA)

o Web Serivces (Restful, SOAP)

o LDAP and SMTP interfaces

o Authentication model (ie. Basic, SSO, Oauth 2.0)

o UI/UX framework

o Template engine framework (e.g. Velocity, Freemarker, Thymeleaf, etc.)

o Collaboration APIs (i.e. AXL, Unity, Webex, Telepresence, etc.) will be beneficial.

Desired skills:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science OR equivalent years of relevant work experience.

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of applicable work experience

  • A proven ability to learn and adapt to new, complex development environments with deep dive analytical skills

  • A passion for being connected anywhere and any device
