Cisco Managed Service System Architect in Rome, Italy

What You'll Do Systems Architects in Cisco are technical leads that advise and support Sales teams with pre-sales and deep technical knowledge. You’ll get to work across a vast portfolio of Cisco products within the Service Provider area and so a thorough knowledge of Service Provider technologies is required. You will touch a variety of Cisco technology solutions and Architectures as the lead System Architect for Managed Service Provider accounts within EMEAR. In this job you will be / have: * A senior customer-focused sales professional who is an architectural innovator in defining and developing architectures and roadmaps to solve Managed Service business problems * Be the lead architect, providing a deep consultative relationship with the customer in collaboration with the account team, Business Units, and other teams to integrate replicable architectures and drive managed Cisco solution designs. * Able to drive Software centric conversations at any level inside a customer's organization * Work with customers as a trusted advisor to identify key business and technical requirements * Define and develop SW centric solution architectures to solve customer problems in multi-domain, multi-vendor environments. * Build relationships with peers within CX in their area of specialization and Assist Services' scoping exercises, draw on resources (particular services and relationships) in a pre-sales capacity and identify the best AS resources * Excellent understanding of networking and SW architecture is required * Strong commercial intuition and an ability to draw a line of sight between technology and return on investment for the partner and managed service customer. This role will require you to travel in the UK & Nordic Region, so can be based in any of these locations. Who You'll Work With Cisco Pre-sales delivers the message about the vital role the network plays to our customers and partners. New demands on the network are calling for new solutions: SDN, SaaS, Lan, Wan, Security and DC/Cloud more importantly, the power of these solutions when used together. We help customers understand how to use these state-of-the-art networks. And make it possible for them to achieve their business goals in ways they would never have imagined. The network touches everything: come and define it with us. Who You Are * You will ideally bring 8+ years pre-sales engineering or technical customer facing experience in SP and channel environments. * You will ideally have BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering or related discipline. * Preferably have CCNA, CCNP or CCIE certifications. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Write and speak English fluently. Skills * Thorough understanding and deep dive into some, or all the following technologies: Routing and switching, Data Centre, Network Orchestration * Knowledge of Cisco products and Cisco certifications are preferred. * Adept at using initiative, discretion and judgment to apply technical solutions to complex sales opportunities. * Adept at customer interactions from the CIO through to technical staff. * Knowledge of sales cycle. * Impactful verbal and written communication and strong presentation skills. * Great relationship building skills, tenacity, resilience. * Ability to work independently and remotely as well as with your team to accomplish objectives. * Good understanding of the market space and offerings. * Ability to train and coach others in our enterprise technologies. * Willingness to travel Why Cisco At Cisco, each person brings their excellent talents to work as a team and make a difference.
