Cisco Managing Director - Prague in Prague, Czech Republic

What You'll Do

  • Inspiring and leading the Cisco sales team (sales, technical staff, Channel managers, and support staff) to success

  • Implementing Cisco's Operational Excellence Policies and Processes

  • Developing and executing a sales strategy and tactics that maximize Cisco opportunity within the customer and partner environment throughout for Service Provider/Enterprise/ Commercial and Public Sector

  • Along with sales planning, this position is responsible for accurate forecasting and managing the Cisco sales team

  • Direct customer and Cisco partner contact will comprise a major portion of this assignment

  • Develop, manage and foster all necessary Cisco Partner relationships at CxO level

  • The job will involve and require interactions with government officials and heads of state. The role therefore not only comprises sales responsibility but also the representation of Cisco at that level.

  • The function includes the management of the direct reports and the host management of the indirect reports based in the region.

Cisco is looking for an inspiring leader who sees it as a challenge to drive Operational Excellence in a very dynamic sales market place. The General Manager will lead the Cisco account team, represent Cisco in the marketplace, manage Employee Performance, Government Relations and Media and Press Relations

Who You Are

  • 7-10 years related experience in network technologies, solutions and applications in the Enterprise and Public sector

  • Significant demonstrable sales success in both indirect and direct sales environments. Creating sales results is the principal measure of performance.

  • Experience with International sales processes

  • Experience of implementation of corporate policies

  • Strong financial skills are a must

  • Outstanding English communication skills coupled with great presentation skills

  • In-depth understanding of the telecommunications and financial regulatory drivers in the country

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and virtual management experience

  • Enjoy networking through travel to corporate headquarters and key customers

  • Managing employee performance and development of management team
