What You'll Do
You'll build high-performance, secure and lightweight software agent running on various platforms such as Linux, Solaris, AIX and Windows. The software agents are responsible for collecting a rich set of information on the servers, including network traffic and system activities such as processes and network connections. This information will be streamlined to our cluster which in turn performs big data analysis. In addition, the software agents are responsible to perform enforcement activities such as controlling Linux’s iptables and Windows Firewall.
Who You'll Work With
As an integral member of the software agent team, you will be closely involved in product development cycle from conceptualization to deploying in production environments. You will be embedded within cross-functional teams that include big data engineers, data scientists and UX/UI engineers. The features you develop will enable data center network visibility and management at unprecedented scale.

Our minimum requirements for this role:
MS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
Coding skill in C, C++, Java or Python.
Experience with at least one of the following (experience with more that one is a big plus)
o Big Data systems, Map Reduce frameworks, Big Data pipelines and graph automation
o Extraction Transformation and Loading of a bursty event log stream into a BD (Big Data) ingestion and storage system
o Sensor technology which generates interesting network events
o Building graph storage databases
o Intuitive User Interface designs
PhD in Computer Science.
Experience with recommendation systems, targeting systems, ranking systems or similar.
Extensive experience in C/C++ or Python/Java.
Background in Security, Networking, Analytics, Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
