People & Communities Representative (Country HR Representative)

What You'll Do

The Country HR Representative will provide HR operations and administration support in APJC.

In this role, you could be working on delivering a number of core activities:

  • Support new employee onboarding, ensuring a successful and compliant start in the new role or location.

  • Support our employees in complex life transitions and escalations, creating moments that matter by helping them connect to the most appropriate benefit or policy to support them and their families.

  • Support employee data collection, based on local requirements, for benefits and compensation purposes from day one.

  • Provide support with local expertise for a variety of programs conceived and driven by HR.

  • Proactively maintain compliance calendar and data associated with each compliance report, satisfying legal requirements to minimize risk to Cisco.

  • Provide an outstanding employee experience by coordinating (directly or indirectly) the entire benefits lifecycle for an employee.

Who You'll Work With

You will work under direction of the Country Support leader for APJC and be a member of the HR Country Team aligned to ASEAN and ANZ.

You will partner very closely with broader HR teams and HR specialists, including Shared People Support, Global Staffing Administration, Employee Mobility, Acquisitions, Benefits delivery team and with Payroll.

Who You Are

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in HR administration/operations for ASEAN

  • Subject matter expertise or strong curiosity about local employment law and culture

  • Fluent English language is required.

  • Applies knowledge of benefits and other human resources-related policies and programs for effective and accurate resolution.

  • Ability to handle highly complex issues and bring to successful resolution.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Self-starter and strong problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and oral communication in English.

  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork.

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

  • Executes on deliverables in the agreed upon timeframe.

  • Demonstrates critical thinking, sound judgment and a pragmatic approach to decision making.
