Who You Are:
Provide recommendations and engineering operations support in Cloud Costs, Compliance Evidence collection and management and Security / Vulnerability Ticket management.
What You'll Do:
Cloud Cost Containment, Optimization and Management - using your knowledge and experience with Cloud constructs, ensure the team is utilizing the best services from a cost and performance perspective. Ensure Savings Plans and Reserved Instance coverage to keep costs down;
Partner with the engineering organization to converge on common infrastructure setup, tooling, and deployment processes;
Research and recommend technologies to help further product goals;
Security and Vulnerability Ticket management - work with ST&O organization to ensure all tickets are assigned and verified quickly and efficiently, with as little disruption as possible for the team; develop scripts to help reduce vulnerability ticketing and administrative burden on the team
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years running cloud resources across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
2+ years experience handling annual audits for business certifications.
2+ years experience managing results from internal scanners for cloud resource vulnerabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Competent and comfortable with SaaS applications and services, including office applications, collaboration, business services, etc. (e.g. Concur, Google Apps, EchoSign, etc.)
Competent and comfortable with Microsoft office tools, Procurement tools
Outstanding organizational skills; you should have the ability to take chaos and turn it into real results
Familiarity working in a fast-paced, demanding and deadline-driven environment
Availability outside of normal office hours
Excellent interpersonal skills in person, on the phone and through correspondence
Ability to handle critical correspondence and situations with the utmost discretion
Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments
Ability to manage small projects and plan off-site meetings/events
