What You'll Do
The Data Center Networking specialist sales organization seeks a seasoned and motivated Technical Solutions Architect to focus on Cisco’s industry-leading Nexus 3K/9K, NCS 5500, Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), Cisco Network Assurance Engine (CNAE), and Tetration products. You'll help transform our customers' data center infrastructure and help simplify their operational challenges.
The Public Sector segment is dynamic. The segment continues to grow quickly, Only Cisco’s data center portfolio can provide the full spectrum of unparalleled performance, automation, visibility, security and network assurance needed to succeed in the Service Provider Space.
Who You'll Work With
Our team works with our product engineers and marketing, our sales force, and our partners. We help provide field input and direction into engineering, and drive product knowledge out to the field. We help our sales force, partners, and customers stay up to date on the latest product enhancements, as well as understand the value, and unique advantages that come with the most complete and advanced networking products in the industry.
Who You Are
You know Data Centers, and you know what it takes to help customers achieve their business needs. You're seasoned with customer-facing presales engagements, and you easily explain technical concepts and subjects to a variety of audience levels with varied technical backgrounds, at the same time articulating the business value of those technical topics. Your strong communication skills help you effectively command a confidence in the technology, and help you influence others.
Our minimum requirements for this role:
More than 5 years of technical presales experience.
Working knowledge of Data Center Networking environments and some programming
Ability to travel in order to meet client demands required.
Ensure success of customer proof-of-concepts (POCs).
Flexible, dependable, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies.
Ability to motivate, train and conduct seminars to increase Data Center Networking revenues.
Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
Must be a self-starter effective in working independently and in a team setting.
