What You'll Do:

We are looking for 4 to 12 years experienced Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in identifying nms/ems development & Splunk development. SPLUNK developer will participate in various aspects of the implementation, including using SPLUNK to development of insider threat indicators, synthesize large scale system/communications logs, develop analytical data sets and behaviour models, and develop and apply Splunk machine learning algorithms to identify anomalous activities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of “end to end” networking, performance transaction visibility, including large scale processing, integration, and analysis of system logs and databases in SPLUNK.

  • Identification of analytics approaches, and development of supporting analytical data sets using SPLUNK.

  • Development of statistical behavior models, and support for the development of machine learning approaches.

  • Development of visualization dashboard and indicators that identify anomalous activities

Platform Architecture & Engineering (PAE) is a single, consolidated organization comprised of the Platform and Technology, Engineering, and SW Development to manage the CMS operations tools and platforms with focus on harmonization onto a single platform CMSP aka Sapphire (e.g. for ticket handling, monitoring, change handling, reporting and metrics, customer portals) required by the NOC teams to operate the customer solutions across the ITIL processes.

Skills Required:

Senior Splunk Developer

Splunk Developer with APM (Application Performance Monitoring) experience.

Develop, tooling technologies, integration, coding, scripting are the skills

Experience developing Splunk queries and dashboards targeted at understanding application performance and capacity analysis.

Experience, in delivering predictive application performance monitoring solutions to customers.

Predictive APM requires an analysis of application architecture and available metrics from existing APM tools in order to properly categorize the normal state of the application.

Integration with all leading APM tools using a variety of integration methods, including SQL, SOAP, REST, and Scripting.

Background in software development. As a developer, specialization in distributed computing and have experience in Web Services, SOA, and JEE methods, such as JDBC, TCP/IP, and framework APIs."

Experience in handling NMS/EMS implementation in application development & web application environments, experience in firewall architecture, penetration testing experience, vulnerability and risk assessment.

Excellence in Software Design, Architecture principles and Software development Life Cycle Telecom development background specifically NMS/EMS with expert domain knowledge.

Desirable Skills:

Mandatory to have atleast 2+ relevant development Experience in Splunk development

Cloud based management

Graphical User Interface design

Oracle SQL/Oracle background is a strong asset




Experience with information modelling

Knowledge of FCAPS(Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance, Security) functionality.

Proficiency with database design and information models.

Aware about emerging frameworks , latest technology trends in industry, Proactive, motivated, works well in team and should be a good communicator.

Good technical leadership skills (hands on as a technical leader),

Should be a team player.
