What You’ll Do

Cisco IT is looking for a Software Architect who is interested in joining the IT development organization. You will have the opportunity to architect, design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy highly scalable and robust software.

• You will Craft, develop, and work with the engineers on private on-premise cloud and java newest technology stack, and the public cloud like Google Cloud and AWS with coordinated automation and monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk.

• Work on Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and machine learning initiatives and POCs

• Work with Cloud and data center infrastructure teams in an Agile DevOps model

• Operate within a highly Agile development environment

Who You Are

We are looking for strong collaborators and self-starters who will take initiative and require minimal mentorship. Communications, both written and verbal, must be excellent, and an ability and desire to work with teams that span the globe is needed. Flexibility is key and the ability to work from home is needed.

Must Have Requirements:

• Proven experience (10+ years)

• Bachelor’s degree or experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar

• Proven experience in Design Patterns

• Proven experience in Data Structures

• Algorithms

• Java/Caching, PL/SQL

• OWASP

• Relational and non-relational databases

Preferred requirements: (Required per OFCCP compliance)

• CockroachDB

• Oracle

• Kafka

• ELK

• Google cloud functions
