What You’ll Do

The Database Performance Tuning Administrator provide Oracle engineering, design and administration services to several large-scale critically important Oracle ERP and database application and environments. Who you'll work with

The Database & Business Platform Services team is looking for a highly motivated Database Performance tuning authority to join the team. The team provides reliable, scalable, and secured Oracle databases and ERP environments by collaborating with global multi-functional IT and Engineering teams using next-gen tools, processes, and personnel.

Who you are.

We are looking for talented and seeking individuals who are looking to assist in tuning the Oracle and ERP Database for operation excellency. As a Database Performance tuning authority, you will need have prior experience in tuning on high mission critical Oracle and ERP Databases while ensuring their efficient performance, security, and scalability. You will play a meaningful role in crafting, implementing, and maintaining database solutions to support our applications and business operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or relevant work experience.

• Administration of Oracle Databases especially 12c,19c with hands-on experience on support & implementation high availability & disaster recovery with Oracle Grid, Data Guard, etc.

• Hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12, Fusion Middleware administration, DB & ERP-Apps side performance tuning.

• Ability to perform Oracle ERP DB & apps cloning, installation, configuration, patching, upgrades on Cisco UCS/Linux and Support 3rd party apps.

Preferred Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience in Oracle ASM & RAC, Oracle Active Data Guard, RMAN backup/recovery, Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c; Shell & SQL, PL/SQL scripting skills, capacity planning, & DB space management.

• Experience and knowledge of SQL queries and SQL Trace/Explain plans, SQL performance tuning. Setting Oracle parameters, and options.

• Systems Analysis and Performance tuning (Oracle Database 12c,11g,10g, 9i, Application SQL and PL/SQL code tuning).

• Perform database tuning by using various tools such as ADDM from AWR, OEM and Dynamic Performance Views.

• Experience in Scaled Agile Framework, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery framework along with exposure to toolset such as Jenkins, Git/BitBucket and JIRA will be an added advantage.

• Knowledge and operational experience of NOSQL databases like Cassandra, MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL will be an added advantage.

• Golden Gate replication administration skillset will be an added plus.
