Cisco Project Manager, Packaging Engineering in Austin, Texas

What You'll Do

As a Project Manager you will be working in a dynamic environment implementing various initiatives, including sustainable packaging that improves customer experience, reduce cost, and environmental footprint while also pursing cost-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Coordinate multiple projects and/or teams in parallel to meet organizational priorities.

  • Plan, implement, and supervise programs throughout the program life cycle to support the strategic direction of the organization.

  • Manage program schedule, scope, and resources, adjusting to new requirements and constraints over the program lifecycle.

  • Plan and implement program governance structures in an organized and controlled fashion to ensure that decision making is occurring with the right people involved.

  • Regular communication of program delivery results and financial reporting to program stakeholders.

  • Ongoing communications and change management supporting program objectives, adoption, and maturity.

  • Identification, monitoring, and control of program risk, issues, escalations as well as the interdependencies between projects.

Who You'll Work With

The Global Packaging Engineering team sits within our Supply Chain Operations organization. You will also collaborate with many areas of Supply Chain, Engineering, and many other exciting groups! The focus of the position is on utilizing internal and external partnerships to achieve outstanding business results. The position requires an understanding of project management principles, execution skills, packaging testing and an ability to build innovative packaging solutions. You will collaborate with multiple business areas in both Supply Chain and Engineering.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a project/program management role

  • Experience with leading multiple projects concurrently

  • Experience and competence in digital literacy including project management tool and MS Office

Preferred Requirements

  • Strong experience with data analysis and creating clear visualization

  • Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and circular economy principles

  • Familiarity with government regulatory situations
